The Seattle Seahawks are preparing for the 2026 NFL season with a new-look running back room after Kenneth Walker III left for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Zach Charbonnet is set to miss time at the start of the year.
So, who will be earning the reps out of the backfield in Seattle? First-round rookie Jadarian Price, free-agent signing Emanuel Wilson, and returning RB George Holani are the three most-likely backs to see work.
But how will Seattle manage this room? According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald revealed that it won't be a bell-cow situation, but rather a committee with two to three backs involved at any given time.
"The running back rotation will feature 'two, possibly three guys in a game plan,' Macdonald told me, starting with the preseason," Fowler writes.
