The opening day of the season is a day which is hotly anticipated across the globe as Premier League stars return to the pitches and screens.
In August 1993 - the late Freddie Mercury was at the top of the UK charts, John Major was the Prime Minister, and Micky Quinn was Coventry's hat-trick hero at Highbury.
Former ****** nal striker Bobby Gould was in the dugout for the Sky Blues as they visited Highbury for their opening game of the 1993-94 season.
It proved to be a game many Coventry fans will always remember and one ****** nal fans will want to forget.
Liverpool-born, Quinn scored all three goals in the 3-0 victory.
