The Arizona Cardinals announced a roster move on Thursday after the completion of their final week of OTAs (organized team activities), ending the voluntary part of the offseason program. They added veteran safety Isaiah Oliver and released kicker Joshua Karty.
Oliver has been in the league since 2018, when he was drafted in the second round by the Atlanta Falcons.
He is a Phoenix, Arizona, native and played high school ball at Brophy.
He spent his first five NFL seasons with the Falcons, playing mostly cornerback. He followed that up with a season with the San Francisco 49ers in 2023 and the last two years with the New York Jets.
Last season, he played in 14 games before a knee injury ended his season, starting twice. He logged 55 total tackles and broke up three passes. He played 322 defensive snaps for the Jets and a career-high 300 snaps on special teams.
