India's next Test **** ignment will take them to New Zealand for a two-match series beginning November 19, and former Kiwi fast bowler Trent Boult believes KL Rahul will be one of the Indian batters worth watching closely.

The two Tests will form part of India's marathon New Zealand tour, which begins on October 22 and features 12 matches across the three formats. With India needing a strong result to remain in contention for the World Test Championship (WTC) final, the spotlight is expected to fall on several key players, including captain Shubman Gill and pace spearhead Jasprit **** rah.

Boult, however, has picked Rahul and his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal as the two Indian batters he is particularly looking forward to seeing in action.

"I'm always a big fan of KL Rahul and his style of batsmanship. So he's a big player at the top of the order for the Indian side. And yeah, I believe Jaiswal is there as well. Two classy batters to see bat. So yeah, be interesting to see," Boult said in an interview to PTI.
The timing of the series could make conditions particularly interesting. Unlike India's previous Test tours of New Zealand, which have often taken place in the February-March window, this series will be played in late October and November.

Boult feels the timing could bring colder weather into play, while he is hoping the New Zealand pitches retain some grass and offer **** istance to the home attack.

"It's always an exciting chance when the Indian team comes down to play Test cricket in New Zealand," Boult said.

"The only thing I can see happening is it's going to be late October. I believe, just coming out of winter. So it's going to be quite cold. Hopefully, there's a bit of greenness in the wickets for some of our bowlers. It's going to be a good series, I'm sure," the star former Kiwi pacer added.
Boult also backed the current New Zealand bowling unit to make an impact against India, pointing to the variety available to the team.

Kyle Jamieson, Matt Henry, Nathan Smith and Will O'Rourke bring different qualities to the attack, and Boult believes that gives New Zealand enough options to develop its own identity.

"I think the bowling is very well balanced. It's got bases covered in terms of a good pace, obviously, with Will O'Rourke. Obviously, a bit of swing and a bit of bounce from Kyle Jamieson and Matt Henry with his accuracy.

"So yeah, I think the way me, Tim (Southee) and Wags (Neil Wagner) did it over the years was a unique way in itself. But there's other strengths and other game plans that our younger bowlers can follow," Boult further said.

Several 49ers WAGs didn't let the looming season stop them from savoring summertime.
This was made very clear by the summer getaway that George Kittle's wife, Claire, and Kyle Juszczyk's wife, Kristin, took to Italy, while their husbands were in the thick of training camp.
Per usual, Kittle and Juszczyk were active on social media throughout this vacation. And Kittle posted an Instagram collage of the trip that includes several bikini photos.

Now that NFL training camps are well underway, many wives and girlfriends of the league's biggest stars are giving behind the scenes looks about their training camp experience.
San Francisco 49ers WAGs Claire Kittle and Kristin Juszcyk are not among these. Instead, the two prominent social media personalities are on a girls trip in Italy, which has contained daily trips on boats while their husbands are dealing with injuries back in California.

The short video shared the two WAGs looking at each other and laughing while on the back of the boat. Both were wearing bold bikinis, with Claire's being some sort of halter-style top with shell-like embellishments. Kristin's was a multicolor, animal print look that included some purple tones and was mostly covered by a cream wrap.

All charges against a radiologist accused of trying to kill his family in 2023 by driving his car off a cliff along the Northern California coast have been dismissed by a judge following his completion of a mental health program.
Prosecutors charged Dharmesh Patel, 45, with attempted murder after he drove his Tesla off a 250-foot cliff along the Pacific Coast Highway in San Mateo County, injuring his wife and two young children. All four survived the Jan. 2, 2023, crash in what one official called an "absolute miracle."
A San Mateo County judge dismissed the charges on Monday after Patel completed a two-year mental health diversion program with a Stanford psychiatrist and a family therapist this week, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.
"The judge was required by the law to dismiss the charges," Wagstaffe said.
In 2024, a different judge ruled Patel would receive mental health treatment instead of standing trial after his defense attorneys argued he was going through episodic major depression with hallucinations when he drove his family off the cliff and qualified for mental health diversion under California law that went into effect in 2023.

Kim Kardashian's arrival at Lewis Hamilton's latest race caught F1 WAGs' attention. According to an insider, the wives and girlfriends of the drivers are allegedly not fans of the couple's romance. On June 7, Hamilton participated in the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix. Kardashian attended the event to support the Ferrari ace, who finished second.
F1 WAGs are reportedly not fans of Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton's romance. A source told Star magazine that the SKIMS co-founder was allegedly "not mixing well with the other wives and girlfriends." "They find her snooty and fake," the insider added.
Kardashian attended the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix on June 7. Her arrival at the race caught everyone's attention after she missed a previous one in Tokyo, where Hamilton lost. This time, the seven-time F1 champion finished second and had seemingly blown a kiss to his girlfriend from the winner's podium.
Meanwhile, Hamilton has recovered from the early loss and has reportedly been doing well. The insider told the outlet that his team has allegedly been "anxious" and worried whether he would be able to "keep the momentum." They have seemingly been concerned about the athlete's "distraction," referring to Kardashian. "There's a lot of talk that his head's elsewhere when she's around," the source claimed.
Furthermore, they mentioned that Hamilton has seemingly been "smitten" and would "walk through fire" for Kardashian at the moment. He is said to be unbothered by "jealous" critics, who have been trying to split the lovebirds. Meanwhile, the reality TV star's presence at the recent race reportedly made him happy.
