Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts enters the 2026 NFL season facing an unusual concern. Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks has highlighted a really concerning turnover rate in his training camp performance.
Shorr-Parks posted on X that Hurts has thrown 13 interceptions across 16 practices this summer. That compares with 15 interceptions during the previous four training camps combined.

This concern came to light after Hurts threw a costly pick-six during Tuesday night's practice at Lincoln Financial Field. Cornerback Riq Woolen intercepted his pass intended for DeVonta Smith during a two-minute drill and returned it for a touchdown.
"Hurts and offense are turning it over way too much," Shorr-Parks wrote. He added that Philadelphia may need to return to its more conservative passing approach if the issue continues into the regular season.

There were reports early in the offseason that Eagles left guard Landon ****** erson was considering retiring after five NFL seasons, but he remains a member of the team and he addressed those reports on Saturday.
Dickerson said that any notion that he was thinking about walking away didn't start with him.
"I'm not sure where you guys got that from," ****** erson said, via Eliot Shorr-Parks of WIP.
Dickerson added that he's "not really" concerned about the ****** ulative toll his body takes as a result of playing. ****** erson did add, via multiple reporters, that he thinks he returned too quickly after having meniscus surgery last summer and that he has rethought his approach to trying to push through injuries as he has in the past.
