The Raiders have added a veteran running back.
Las Vegas announced on Thursday that the club has signed Dare Ogunbowale.
Ogunbowale, 32, spent the last four seasons with Houston, mainly playing special teams. In 2025, he also ran it 11 times for 25 yards with a touchdown while catching 10 passes for 76 yards.
In all, Ogunbowale has appeared in 114 games with nine starts since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2017 out of Wisconsin.
With an open roster spot, the Raiders did not need to make a corresponding move.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Jessica Shepard and Arike Ogunbowale scored 15 points each and the Dallas Wings used a big run in the third quarter to cruise to an 83-63 win over the Connecticut Sun on Sunday night.
After a slow start to the third quarter, when the Wings had more misses and turnovers than points, they followed a timeout with a 20-2 run to close the quarter and turn a nine-point lead into a 72-45 lead.
The Sun went 3 of 15 from the field and scored just eight points.
Azzi Fudd added 12 points for the Wings (19-11), who ended a two-game skid. Paige Bueckers scored just six points, the fewest in her two-year career. With reserves playing the fourth quarter Dallas still finished at 48% shooting, making 7 of 18 3-pointers. Fudd was 4 of 5 on 3s and Ogunbowale made 7 of 9 shots with five **** ists.
Diamond Miller led the Sun (7-23) with a season-high 22 points. Kennedy Burke added 14.

Ogunbowale has played in nine seasons in the NFL with the Washington Commanders (2017), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2018-19), Jacksonville Jaguars (2020-21) and Houston Texans (2022-25). He most recently recorded 25 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown in 2025 with the Texans.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Shakira Austin scored a season-high 28 points and had 10 rebounds, Kiki Iriafen added 22 points and nine rebounds and the Washington Mystics beat the Dallas Wings 81-75 on Friday night.
Washington (16-12) has won four straight for the first time since September 2020.
Cotie McMahon made Washington's final field goal with 2:50 remaining in the fourth quarter for a 71-68 lead. Then, the Mystics closed it out by going 10 of 10 at the free-throw line.
Sonia Citron finished with 16 points for Washington despite going 3 of 18 from the field. Citron went 10 of 10 at the free-throw line, while Dallas only attempted 13.
Paige Bueckers led Dallas (18-11) with 23 points. Arike Ogunbowale scored 14 of her 20 points in the first half. The Wings have lost three of their last four games.

Mitchell, Ohio State basketball's all-time leading scorer, led the Fever on July 12 with 27 points in a 109-75 road victory over the reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces and four-time league MVP A'ja Wilson. Caitlin Clark’s latest WNBA behavior debate has drawn comparisons to an old Dallas Wings clip, but Jason Whitlock used that footage to highlight a different expectation for Clark.
The conversation started after a fan pointed to a 2022 incident involving Arike Ogunbowale, who was then with the Dallas Wings.
The clip showed a frustrated player reaction from a different WNBA moment, but Whitlock did not treat it as a reason to excuse Clark. Instead, he argued that Clark was supposed to represent something different.
Responding on X, Whitlock said his issue was not whether other WNBA players had lost control before.
