Princess Leonor turned heads as she debuted one of her most striking looks to date for the Spanish royal family's annual summer reception at Marivent Palace.
The 20-year-old heir to the Spanish throne joined her parents, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, alongside her younger sister Infanta Sofía and grandmother Queen Sofía, for the traditional gathering, which welcomes representatives from institutions and organisations across the Balearic Islands.
While Queen Letizia kept things effortlessly elegant in an ivory striped Sybilla dress and King Felipe opted for a relaxed blue linen shirt with dark trousers, it was Leonor and Sofía who brought the colour to the royal family's annual appearance.

Leonor looked radiant in a fiery two-piece ensemble by Spanish sustainable fashion label Thinking Mu. The sleeveless Dora top and coordinating Pauline pleated maxi skirt featured painterly shades of crimson, burnt orange and golden yellow, punctuated with unexpected flashes of blue that evoked a dramatic Mediterranean sunset.

Queen Letizia returned to Gucci shoes in public on Sunday for the first time in more than a decade, wearing the house's beige Signora slides to close the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest at La Misericordia Cultural Centre in Palma de Mallorca. The front ended in a straight square edge, while the upper narrowed sharply at the instep. Black leather lining showed along the inside of the backless shoe, and a thin black outsole traced the pale leather. The 2.2-inch block heel looked broad from the side but stayed narrow through in profile. Gucci designed the Signora as an open version of a pump, keeping the leather, squared toe and equestrian hardware while removing the heel counter. For some, polished summer dressing can feel like a challenge. Elements that are too simple can lead an outfit to look overly casual, but add too many bells and whistles and the look can seem forced and overdressed. When looking for summer outfit inspiration that threads the needle effortlessly, no one does it quite like Queen Letizia of Spain, who showed off her prowess for the "just enough, not too much" seasonal outfit at an audience at the Zarzuela Palace.
Welcoming the team behind the documentary Los Nietos del Silencio, the queen opted once again to shop her own closet, rewearing a navy and white dress from Antik Batik. The tiered maxi featured a nigh crew neckline to balance the sleeveless style, with wavy embroidery white accents and white embroidery at the shoulders. Letizia previously wore the style last year when she attended a symposium on women in sports.

To complete her look, Letzia paired the dress with one of her go-to shoe styles, the wedge espadrille. In fact, her name was all over this moderate-heeled navy and white pair—the style, by Picon, is actually named the "Letizia." As per her usual style, Letizia wore her hair in loose waves, and capped things off with a pair of understated gold earrings by Spanish jeweler Isabel Guarch.
The Spanish queen is well-known for rewearing some of her favorite looks, as she displayed today. Just last week, she chose a white, patterned Hugo Boss dress for an event for the Princess of Girona Foundation that she had previously worn out and about twice before. She even decided on a rewear for Spain's Wold Cup-winning match over the weekend, donning a bold red Adolfo Dominguez dress that she first wore last fall.
