Bethenny Frankel said her summer with daughter Bryn Hoppy had looked different this year as the 16-year-old stayed busy with work, school responsibilities, and travel.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star spoke about Bryn's schedule during an interview with Us on August 12. Frankel said the teenager had spent time in Greece, attended a short Sotheby's business program in New York, and had been working during the summer.
Frankel said Bryn had been balancing several commitments while away from school, including summer ***** ignments.
"She's been working. She was away in Greece. She went away to do a program at Sotheby's business in New York for just a couple of days," Frankel told Us Magazine.
Bryn's schedule had also affected how much time she and her mother could spend together. Frankel said they had still made time for activities, although their days together were different from previous summers.

"I'm so lucky that my first booking led to so many opportunities when I was still so young, (like) getting a job that a million girls were built for in The Devil Wears Prada. I got to be with Stanley Tucci. I got to be with Emily Blunt. I got to be with um...oh what's her name," the 43-year-old continued, pretending to forget Meryl. "I've gotten to spend my life so far, doing what I love, having so many adventures along the way, knowing joy and valuing the extraordinarily good fortune that allows me to share my life with my greatest blessing - a family I couldn't love more."

Frankel described the conclusion as confusing because she had been living under the belief that the unnamed diagnosis was correct. She did not identify the original doctor, the new medical group or any treatment that may have resulted from the diagnosis.
Her disclosure follows months of public updates about chronic kidney disease, but Frankel did not say that her kidney diagnosis was the one being reconsidered.
Frankel shared the update in an Instagram video posted August 3rd, telling followers that she had joined what she called a "very legitimate" medical community.
