When Charlie's Angels premiered in 1976, the lives of its stars Jaclyn Smith, Farrah Fawcett and Kate Jackson changed overnight.
"You knew you weren't going to go in the grocery store anymore and not be Jaclyn Ellen Smith," Smith, 80, tells PEOPLE. "We were just three girls hoping to find an audience, and boy, did we find an audience."

Destiny's Child was one of the biggest girl groups in the world, but high-profile line-up changes and lawsuits plagued their early success.
Two of the founding members, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, filed a lawsuit against manager Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé's dad, for breach of contract, defamation, libel, and fraud, according to Rolling Stone, after claiming he favored Beyoncé and distributed the group's earnings somewhat creatively.
LeToya and LaTavia were then replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin, who left the group after six months, and Destiny's Child became a trio.

The lawsuit was settled out of court in 2002, and LeToya claimed in 2023 that all was forgiven. "Things happened the way they were supposed to happen," she said. "Baby, everybody's fine. We've done our therapy."

Farrah Abraham was not bluffing when she announced her run for city council in Austin, Texas. The former Teen Mom star was spotted attending her first meeting ahead of the November election.
"I'm Farrah Abraham running for District 5. So please support. I appreciate your vote and I am an advocacy for action," Abraham, 35, can be heard saying in the video from the meeting, which she shared via Instagram on Tuesday, September 1. "So I look forward to hearing everyone's concerns, figuring out the best touch point pipeline in getting that done. Thank you."

Abraham — who first moved to the Texas capital in 2013 — added, "Who knew I was born for this with my mom taking me to city council meetings since age 5 and her being president of the historical preservation alliance, it has helped me see the reality of how aligned I am for city council or any position I'm blessed by God to be in Austin, Texas for."

Kyle Richards' daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, has revealed the identity of her unborn child's father as none other than her "Buying Beverly Hills" co-star and The Agency colleague, Zach Goldsmith.
The 37-year-old property mogul, who is the daughter of Richards and her ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie, hard launched her relationship with Goldsmith while sharing a video of the two of them celebrating their gender reveal.
"Zach Goldsmith and I are having a..." she wrote in the caption of the clip, in which the happy couple were seen embracing each other as they discovered they are having a baby boy.
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Richards and her estranged spouse, The Agency founder Mauricio Umansky—who has helped to raise Farrah since she was a young girl—were also in attendance for the special occasion.

Former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham recently revealed why she and Derek Underwood, the father of her daughter, Sophia, weren't speaking when he died.
Abraham, 35, was a guest on the We Need to Talk with Paul C. Brunson podcast on Thursday, August 20, and was asked about her relationship with Underwood.
The reality star said that she was in love with Underwood while they were together, but admitted that it was also "scary."
"It felt even more scary when I lost him," Abraham continued.
She added that she felt as though the two "gravitated toward each other" because they both had "mother issues." Abraham and her mom, Debra Danielsen, famously feuded throughout much of her time on the 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom franchise.
