Panpadej Looksuan edged out fellow Thai star Khunpon Aekmuangnon via unanimous decision in their flyweight Muay Thai main event clash at ONE Friday Fights 166 inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The bout aired live in Asia primetime this past Friday, August 14, with ONE Fight Night 46: Hemetsberger vs. Diachkova on Prime Video set to wrap ONE Championship's triple-header weekend on the same hallowed grounds in less than 24 hours.
Both Thai compatriots arrived chasing redemption after painful setbacks, but it was Panpadej who turned his lessons into action. Learning from his recent losses, the 24-year-old took a more calculated approach against his lanky opponent, using shifty feints and sharp head movement to negate the reach disadvantage.

Khunpon's front kicks found the midsection repeatedly, but the NF Looksuan combatant timed his entries with crisp punch combinations set up behind a piston-like jab. Khunpon, on the flip side, countered with a lunging left cross that kept the opening frame evenly matched.

Scottish slugger "King of the North" Nico Carrillo has already conquered Muay Thai on the grandest stage of martial arts. At ONE Fight Night 46: Hemetsberger vs. Diachkova on Prime Video, he takes his first step toward doing the same in kickboxing.
The ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion will temporarily put the four-ounce gloves aside to open his kickboxing account against Chinese newcomer Zhou Jiaqiang in U.S. primetime this Friday, August 14, from Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium.
The timing of this fight arrives alongside a major shift for the Glaswegian. Carrillo was recently elevated from interim **** leholder to undisputed divisional king, news that would understandably shift most fighters' focus toward celebration.
Not so for "King of the North," who insists the achievement changes absolutely nothing about how he is approaching this featherweight kickboxing battle on Friday.

Some fighters change the moment undisputed gold wraps around their waist. Two-sport ONE World Champion Stella "Always Hungry" Hemetsberger has simply refused to let it reshape her identity.
The Austrian superstar will bring that exact same humble mindset when she defends her ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World ******* le for the first time against Russian standout Natalia "Karelian Lynx" Diachkova.
This highly anticipated clash serves as the main event of ONE Fight Night 46 on Prime Video, broadcasting live in U.S. primetime from the world-famous Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, August 14.
The RS-GYM and ******* et Fight Club representative first overcame Jackie Buntan at ONE Fight Night 35 to capture the vacant Muay Thai crown. Five months later, the Austrian striking ace dethroned the Filipino-American in another highly technical five-round battle to claim the ONE Women's Strawweight Kickboxing World Championship.
It has now been six months since Hemetsberger officially etched her name into the history books, becoming only the third female athlete to capture gold in two disciplines — joining Stamp Fairtex and Janet "JT" Todd — in ONE Championship.

Long before she became one of the organization's most feared strikers, Natalia "Karelian Lynx" Diachkova was a 12-year-old girl in a small Russian province who fell in love with the sound of a heavy bag.
That heavy bag has led her to the upcoming headliner of ONE Fight Night 46 on Prime Video, where she challenges two-sport queen Stella "Always Hungry" Hemetsberger for the ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World ***** le. The event streams live in U.S. primetime this Friday, August 14, from Bangkok's historic Lumpinee Stadium.
It is the biggest opportunity of a career built on hardship long before it was ever built on highlight-reel knockouts. To understand exactly what this shot at gold means to the 31-year-old, the story has to start at the very beginning.
Diachkova found her way into combat sports through an unlikely spark. Her father, who had originally hoped for a son, brought her to a wrestling gym in the small city of Petrozavodsk when she was just 12 years old.
Wrestling never took, but everything changed the moment she watched a local coach named Ivan working a heavy bag inside a newly opened Muay Thai gym nearby. She described that moment as something close to love at first sight, the kind of feeling that stays with a person for life.

Two World **** les. One relentless standard. Austrian superstar Stella "Always Hungry" Hemetsberger has absolutely no intention of letting either slip when she steps through the ropes at ONE Fight Night 46 on Prime Video.
The 27-year-old makes her first defense of the ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World **** le against Russian standout Natalia "Karelian Lynx" Diachkova in the main event of the blockbuster card, which will broadcast live in U.S. primetime this Friday, August 14, from Bangkok's historic Lumpinee Stadium.
The past 12 months have been nothing short of remarkable for Hemetsberger. She defeated Jackie Buntan in back-to-back matchups to capture both the ONE Women's Strawweight Kickboxing World **** le and the Muay Thai crown.
Both victories proved that the Salzburgian — only the third two-sport ONE World Champion in the women's division after Stamp Fairtex and Janet "JT" Todd — is no ordinary talent. However, none of that success has softened her competitive edge.
True to the moniker she has carried throughout her steady rise, the Austrian insists the version of herself stepping in against Diachkova is no different from the highly motivated newcomer who first turned heads on ONE Friday Fights.

ONE Championship has finalized the ONE Fight Night 46 on Prime Video lineup with the addition of a highly anticipated flyweight MMA contest between New Zealand-Vietnamese finisher Viet Anh Do and Brazilian promotional newcomer Davi "Ajuricaba" Brandao.
The bout goes down on Friday, August 14, inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on a blockbuster card headlined by a ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship clash between reigning two-sport queen Stella "Always Hungry" Hemetsberger and dangerous Russian challenger Natalia "Karelian Lynx" Diachkova.
The 29-year-old Auckland MMA and Oliver MMA South Auckland product carries a perfect 6-0 career MMA record into this contest, all six victories coming via finish, and a 5-0 promotional ledger built on a series of increasingly emphatic performances that have made him one of the most talked-about stars in the flyweight MMA division.
After competing at ONE Warrior Series twice in 2019, Do returned to the ONE Friday Fights event series in 2025 with a TKO victory in less than three minutes, then followed it up nearly two months later by flatlining Jean Claude Saclag in under a minute.
The performance that defined his rise came in May this year, when he demolished South Korea's "Money" Kyungjung Kim via TKO to claim not only the win and a performance bonus but the coveted US$100,000 main roster contract that brings him to August 14.

ONE Fight Night 46 on Prime Video just received a double dose of MMA intrigue.
Two compelling mixed martial arts contests have been added to the August 14 card. Jhanlo Mark "The Machine" Sangiao meets Marcos Aurelio in a bantamweight showdown, while Natalie Salcedo welcomes undefeated Polish newcomer Magdalena Czaban in an atomweight clash.
The event broadcasts live in U.S. primetime from Bangkok's historic Lumpinee Stadium and is headlined by Stella "Always Hungry" Hemetsberger's ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World **** le defense against Natalia "Karelian Lynx" Diachkova.
For Sangiao, the matchup represents a chance to build serious momentum in one of ONE Championship's most stacked MMA divisions.
The Team Lakay prince returned to action in style last year, submitting hard-charging Mongolian Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg with just 18 seconds remaining in their dramatic three-round battle. That victory erased the sting of his first professional defeat and reminded fans why the 24-year-old Filipino remains one of the most exciting talents in the bantamweight MMA ranks.
