We can admit that Cosmopolitan doesn't command our attention every month. However, the Hearst-owned publication isn't completely off our radar. After all, a vibrant and sultry Margaret Qualley cover (when the ****** le celebrated its monumental 60th anniversary for Fall 2025) and Sydney Sweeney morphing into a 90s supermodel for Spring 2026 have had our undivided attention of late. Next up on the cover of Cosmopolitan is Jennie, who fronts the Fall 2026 edition of the magazine. The South Korean singer and rapper (of the K-pop group Blackpink) is profiled by the photographer Grayson Vaughan and stylist Brandon Tan. Across a total of six covers, Jennie wears archival looks from both Chanel and Roberto Cavalli (in addition to new season looks from Chrome Hearts, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Area, and Chanel.

"Super cute. I like all of the covers. The yellow version is my favorite," shared MModa.
"Very 60s-70s Cosmo cover", admired forum member onlooker.
"What a terrific selection of covers. Grayson Vaughan and the team have undoubtedly done Jennie justice with these covers! I absolutely love how each one harks back to the magazine's glory days of the 90s. I love the inclusion of the vintage Chanel and Roberto Cavalli pieces. Very nicely done," applauded vogue28.

Nic Vansteenberghe is speaking out about his split from Olandria Carthen, publicly confirming what fans had been speculating about for days.
On Sunday, Vansteenberghe posted to his subscribers-only TikTok account to address the breakup directly. "The rumors are true. I didn't want to give people false hope, so I want to clear the air," he wrote, according to PEOPLE. "We will continue to love each other ALWAYS. It's a sensitive, as well as a private subject, thank you for respecting our privacy."
COMPLEX SHOP: Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Uncover what's next. Buy. Collect. Obsess.
PEOPLE reported the split on July 22, reporting the two had parted ways just over a year after leaving Fiji together as runners-up on Love Island USA Season 7. A source told the outlet that distance and packed schedules made the relationship difficult to sustain, but added that the two "still remain close friends" who share "a deep love and respect for each other."
After the show, the two kept their relationship closely guarded. Carthen explained in a June 2026 Cosmopolitan interview: "When you really care about something, you keep it very sacred and close to you." Both had spoken openly about the stress of navigating public attention, with Vansteenberghe telling Glamour in December 2025 that it felt like they were "damned if you do, ***** ed if you don't" when it came to sharing their lives online.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - JULY 17: Flavor Flav (C), Rhiannon Rae Ellis (2R) and Team USA members Alexandra Carpenter (L) and Hilary Knight (R) attend a private Team USA Athletes Only Dinner featuring top celebrity female chefs and hosted by Flavor Flav during Flavor Flav's SHE Weekend at the new Westoria Restaurant inside The Cosmopolitan on July 17, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. For years, the conversation surrounding women’s sports has centered on one word: equality. Flavor Flav is demonstrating another word leaders should consider: investment.
For many fans, Flavor Flav will forever be remembered as Public Enemy's energetic hype man, a 2013 Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee, the larger-than-life personality behind the iconic clock necklace, or the star of reality television's Flavor of Love.
But this past weekend, the Public Enemy co-founder brought more than one hundred Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists from Team USA’s Women Olympic and Paralympic programs to Las Vegas for SHE Weekend—short for Sports, Hospitality and Entertainment— for a four-day celebration designed to give America’s female athletes something many had rarely experienced at this scale: a victory celebration built specifically around them. I went to experience it for myself, and it was incredible.
The weekend included a parade on the Las Vegas Strip, front-row seats to a private concert from Public Enemy, receiving keys to the Las Vegas Strip, and attendance to the Backstreet Boys’ Sphere residency, where Team USA Medal winners received an onstage acknowledgment. This was in addition to a slate of curated dinners and programming talks from executives across the spectrum.

MEXICO CITY, July 2 (Reuters) - Amid the sea of green that washed over Mexico City after the country's World Cup victory over Ecuador on Tuesday, one shop defiantly hoisted the Ecuadorian flag and welcomed all the downtrodden fans of Mexico's opponents to a place of refuge.
Welcome to the Losers Cafe, a coffee shop in the cosmopolitan neighbourhood of Condesa that is comforting fans of the losing teams.
Each morning, small flags representing the defeated teams are raised at the cafe's entrance to foster a sense of community. Inside, a free drink awaits those who come bearing the jersey of the losing team. Even the napkins read "dry your tears".
Monse Aguilar, a 24-year-old photographer supporting South Africa, visited the Losers Cafe earlier this week after her team lost 1-0 to Canada on Sunday and were eliminated from the World Cup.

Olandria Carthen is facing criticism from some fans after pushing back against growing curiosity surrounding her relationship with fellow "Love Island USA" star Nic Vansteenberghe. The reality star, who became one of the breakout personalities from Season 7, addressed ongoing speculation about her romance during a recent interview, but her response quickly sparked debate online.
When asked about speculation surrounding her relationship status with Vansteenberghe, Olandria made it clear she doesn't believe she owes the public an explanation. "Why is it your business? Are your bills getting paid? Are you touch-deprived? Go get a man; go do something with your life," she told Cosmopolitan.
She continued by questioning why so many fans remain invested in her personal life. "Why does it matter if me and Nic are together?" she asked. "Even when we were at Coachella, people in the comments were like, 'Oh, I just needed proof that they saw each other this week.'"
"Why are you so invested in people that don't know you? That part kind of creeps me out, because I'm never that invested in someone's relationship, and I'm not living for the internet," she continued. "I don't always post what people want me to or always do what people want me to do."
The comments quickly generated backlash across social media, with some viewers arguing that public interest in her relationship comes with the territory of appearing on a dating reality show. And as criticism continued to spread online, Olandria later addressed the situation directly on X. "Some people are dedicated to misunderstanding me on purpose and that's okay. This is why I push education as much as I do," she wrote.

Unique events deserve unique settings – in this case, from SAP Garden to the Stone Hall at Nymphenburg Palace. Thursday was dedicated to Munich's bid for the 2036, 2040 or 2044 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Representatives from politics, society and sport explained how the Bavarian capital plans to organise this major event. President Herbert Hainer once again reaffirmed the support of the German champions: "We at FC Bayern, with our more than 432,500 members worldwide, know how strongly sports bring people together – across borders, generations and social backgrounds." That is why the club supports "hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games in our home city: Munich is not just bidding for a few weeks of sports, but for an impact that will last for decades – both internally and externally." And one thing is clear, said Hainer in the presence of Minister-President Markus Söder, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann, Mayor Dominik Krause and Duke Franz of Bavaria: "Munich is not only a cosmopolitan city with a heart, but also a global sports city with a heart."
In addition to Olympians such as long-time FC Bayern Basketball pro and current FCB youth coach Danilo Barthel, Felix Neureuther (alpine skiing), Alexandra Burghardt (sprint and bobsled), Sideris Tasiadis (canoeing), gold medalist Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (dressage), and Michael Teuber (cycling) as a representative of the Paralympic Games, talented young athletes like Bohan from FC Bayern's table tennis division were also in attendance. In front of around 200 invited guests, Bohan took part in a discussion with Hainer and shared how he discovered his passion for sports: while watching table tennis on TV during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he started playing on a table in the playground, where he was discovered by an FCB coach – and is now training towards his big dream of one day competing in the Olympics himself. This is how sports should inspire: inspiration leads to getting active, developing oneself and and pursuing goals.

Munich's sustainable concept is based on an Olympics of short distances: more than 90 percent of the venues are to be located within a 30km radius. The Olympic and Paralympic Village will once again be designed so that it can be used as an accessible residential area even after the major event, under the guiding principle of a "generations neighbourhood". The general consensus among city and state officials is that this would result in lower overall costs and represent an investment in the city's future.
"In 1972, as a young lad, I sold drinks at the Olympic Stadium in Munich because the Olympics have always fascinated me," Hainer said. "To this day, on my travels – formerly as CEO of adidas and now as president of FC Bayern – I sense that when people around the world think of Germany, they think of Bavaria and Muni
