Rangers need "a wee bit of help" and have money to spend to get it despite dropping out of the Europa League, says manager Derek McInnes.
Two draws and two defeats in the first four games of his tenure have put new boss McInnes under pressure, with Rangers registering only one point in the league and dropping into the Conference League qualifiers after losing to Jagiellonia Bialystok.
And, should the Ibrox side fail to overcome Czech side Jablonec over the final two Thursdays in August, they will be without continental competition - and the income it brings - for the rest of the campaign.
McInnes has overseen a summer of rebuilding, with nine players brought in, but he maintains that more could yet follow.
"It's not been the start we wanted, but the intention is still to have the outcome that we want come the end of the season," he said before Sunday's League Cup last-16 tie with St Mirren.

Rangers are being "proactive" in seeking a new striker after Youssef Chermiti was ruled out long term, says manager Derek McInnes, who warned defensive injuries have left the club "playing with fire".
Chermiti, 22, sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in Saturday's defeat by Hibernian, shortly after McInnes confirmed a bid had been rejected for the Portugal Under-21 cap. Galatasaray have been linked with the former Everton player.
A specialist in London will be consulted, with a possible operation next week.
Chermiti is joined on the sidelines by left-back Tuur Rommens, who has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a groin problem suffered in the same game.
McInnes, whose side will attempt to overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit at home to Jagiellonia Bialystok in their Europa League third-round qualifier on Thursday, said of Chermiti: "Obviously, really disappointing for ourselves.

Nine days, three games, zero victories and five goals conceded - Rangers are yet to get going under Derek McInnes.
Dundee United, Jagiellonia Bialystok and now Hibernian have all taken first-half leads against the Ibrox side as they struggle to find a semblance of form during a rocky start to the campaign.
While issues persist across the park, from their profligacy in front of goal to their inability to penetrate organised defences, their continued defense lapses will undoubtedly be a growing cause for concern.
As former Hibs midfielder Scott Allan said on BBC Radio Scotland after the 2-1 home defeat by his former side: "Based on today, I'd be very surprised if Derek McInnes knows what his best 11 is and we're into the big games already - and that's a problem."

Rangers paid the price for sloppy defending as they let slip an early Europa League lead to lose 2-1 to Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland.
Derek McInnes' first European tie as Gers boss got off to a dream start in the first leg of the third qualifier when home defender Guilherme Montoia turned a Tuur Rommens cross into his own net after just four minutes.
However, Kajetan Szmyt levelled in the 13th minute with a preventable goal to rattle the Light Blues then added a second eight minutes later after more defensive slackness from the visitors.
McInnes brought on Cammy Devlin, Nico Raskin and Findlay Curtis for the start of the second half and the visitors dominated the ball but could not find a way to a leveller, with Curtis crashing a shot off the post in added time, and they will have to turn the tie around at Ibrox next week.
Daisuke Yokota, the winger signed from Hannover, made his debut and he had a few touches before the visitors found themselves ahead early.
