AZ striker Troy Parrott is reportedly being tracked by several European clubs, as well as Eredivisie champions PSV.
After a brilliant personal season in Alkmaar, the Irish international scored 31 goals and registered 10 ****** ists in all competitions last term – not to mention 16 goals in 28 Eredivisie games, and 10 goals in 15 Europa Conference League outings.
As per journalist Ben Jacobs, Parrott is being watched by Real Betis in La Liga and Como in Serie A. PSV are also said to have inquired about Parrott, but the amount AZ is demanding appears to be higher than the Philips Stadion residents will pay.
Jacobs has also mentioned Ajax, but Tolu Arokodare's signing from Wolverhampton Wanderers has taken them out of the running. The 24-year-old Parrott is under contract in Alkmaar until 2029, and AZ hopes to receive a large fee.
The club had hoped for a record fee in January. The current record is held by Tijjani Reijnders, who moved to AC Milan for nearly 25 million euros.

Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare has hit out at “inaccurate” reports that he forced training to be cancelled by refusing to leave the pitch.
It was suggested that Arokodare had sat down at the club’s training ground on Monday and demanded that they let him move to Fiorentina.
Arokodare was left out of Wednesday’s friendly against Maidenhead United by new manager Cesar Peixoto, with Wolves reported to have accepted an offer from Trabzonspor in Turkey – but rejected a possible deal with Fiorentina.
Arokodare signed for £24m from Genk last summer and scored three times in his first campaign as Wolves were relegated from the Premier League.
"I was very surprised and disappointed to see the media reports today, many of which were inaccurate,” Arokodare posted on social media. “Throughout my career, I have always taken great pride in conducting myself professionally and maintaining the highest training standards.

Genk are in the market for a new striker. They appear, according to HNB, to be keen on Pisa’s Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi . However, the 23-year-old Nigerian striker will not come cheap. Pisa are looking for around €10m to allow the forward to leave. However, Genk may well be able to afford that soon. The side are currently negotiating with Borussia Dortmund for the sale of Kos Karetsas, with the Belgian club hoping to get €35m for the talented Greek teenager. This would certainly free up the cash to sign Durosinmi.
Durosinmi only joined Pisa in January 2026 from Viktoria Plzen, where he had scored 31 goals in 71 games. Since joining Pisa, the 23-year-old has only scored one goal in 12 games. According to Fabrizio Romano, via FirenzeViola, the Viola tabled a proposal for the striker, only for the Premier League club to turn it down.
The move is part of Fiorentina's search for a wide attacker to hand straight to Fabio Grosso, with the club looking at options while they wait on Luca Koleosho.
