After years as both an actor and a screenwriter, Cliff Dorfman is ready to set the stage for the next phase of his Hollywood career with his most personal project to date.
Dorfman, 58, rose to prominence in the 1990s with supporting roles on "Beverly Hills, 90210," among other shows. After shifting his focus to screenwriting, he wrote 14 episodes of HBO's "Entourage" and co-wrote the screenplay for the 2011 feature film "Warrior," starring Tom Hardy.

Published in July, the 287-page thriller follows Chase Forman, a Hollywood writer who returns to his native Long Island, New York, to **** ist his family as his adoptive father's health and mental acuity decline.
Though Chase has spent most of his adulthood distancing himself from the Formans, he soon discovers that his family is part of an organized crime empire, with his adoptive mother, Helene, personally overseeing an international money-laundering operation. What follows is a gripping bicoastal chase as Chase and his family members become fugitives on the run from the FBI.

s-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Meena and Minal were left as infants at orphanages in India and grew up in different adoptive families in the Netherlands, just a short drive apart. Now, 40 years later, a DNA test has shown that the childhood friends are biological sisters.
Growing up, neither was aware that they had a sister. Then, as teenagers in 1996, while living just 100 miles (130 km) apart, they crossed paths at a gathering for adopted children and felt an unusually strong connection.
Their friends were amazed by their likeness and the girls swapped addresses. In correspondence, they jokingly called each other 'sis' before losing touch for 15 years.
"For years, I felt a hole in my heart," said Meena Geltink, 43, a mother of three, struggling to put words to her overwhelming feeling of joy. "It's like a missing puzzle piece has been found."

SEATTLE — Make no mistake: Mauricio Pochettino is pure Argentine.
"I am 200 percent Argentine," he said, beaming. "I am not going to lie."
He grew up in a farming village some 250 miles west of Buenos Aires, launched his career in Rosario and wore La Albiceleste's colors in a World Cup. Passion spouts when he speaks about the love for his country and everything it has brought to sports and culture.
His additional loyalties are with Europe, where he played and coached across decades.
But on the most American of holidays, as the coach of a U.S. World Cup team that, through style and substance, has rekindled national spirit and helped unite a divided land, Pochettino continues embracing his adoptive country.

While the firm remains neutral on Intel, it is cautiously positive on the stock considering potential benefits from its advanced chip-packaging technologies. Advanced packaging allows for improved performances, enabling more computing power and supporting the needs and growing demands of AI data centers.

The biological father of murdered Preston Davey has attended a candlelit vigil in memory of his son and told how the baby was subjected to months of "terror at the hands of a monster".
Gary Nolan was speaking as family, friends and well-wishers gathered to pay tribute to Preston on what would have been his fourth birthday.
The 13-month-old died in July 2023 at the hands of teacher Jamie Varley, 37, his adoptive father from Blackpool, Lancashire.
Varley's partner John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was also convicted of ******* ual ******* ault, child cruelty and allowing the death of a child, with the pair due to be sentenced on Thursday.
