HOLMES TOWNSHIP - Wynford used its retro act of a strong rushing attack to snap a two-game losing streak and beat Buckeye Central 41-6 in Northern 10 play Friday night.
The Royals (1-1, 2-2) ran for 492 yards and six touchdowns, led by Deegan Lutz's 246 yards and Braylon Wells' 209 — they both had a trio of scores.

"We came out and were physical tonight," first-year Wynford coach Andy Amlin said. "We lacked focus the last two weeks and I thought we had that. I thought we executed offensively a lot better than we had."
The hosts took a 14-0 lead thanks to Wells' two-yard burst and Lutz's 18-yard run in the first quarter. Wells then ripped off a 63-yard touchdown with 5:18 left in the first half for a three-score margin.
