(KLFY) -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball team snapped a three-match losing streak with its most efficient offensive performance of the season on Friday, September 11, never trailing in a 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-19) sweep of Hampton in the FAMU Tournament at the Al Lawson Center in Tallahassee, Florida.
The Ragin' Cajuns (3-5) hit above .340 in every set and finished with a season-high .382 hitting percentage (45 K, 11 E, 89 TA). Ten different players recorded multiple kills, fueling a 45-28 advantage as Louisiana committed just 11 attack errors in 89 attempts.
Louisiana complemented its balanced offense with nine blocks and seven service aces, limiting Hampton (2-6) to a .112 hitting percentage.
The Ragin' Cajuns posted 16 kills in each of the first two sets, hitting .406 in the opener and .393 in the second before closing at .345.
