Anthony Knox will not appeal the decision by the NJSIAA controversies committee from last May to strip him of the 126-pound state wrestling championship he won in 2025, it was announced Friday by both the NJSIAA and Knox's attorneys.
The 2025 state **** le would have been the fourth of Knox's scholastic career at St. John Vianney High School. He is one of five wrestlers to win four state championships on the mat.
"In the matter of Anthony Knox v. NJSIAA, the **** ociation can confirm that all claims have been dismissed with prejudice. Mr. Knox, through his attorney, has agreed that he will not appeal the procedures, factual findings, or decision of the NJSIAA's Controversies Committee revoking his **** le. Accordingly, the NJSIAA's Committee's findings and decision stand,'' the NJSIAA said in a statement.
"The case is over. The case has been dismissed,'' Knox's attorney Patrick J. Jennings said.
Jennings declined to comment further.
