The biggest track and field event of the year has arrived.
The inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship features three days of competition in Budapest with the best of the best on display. The field for each event will consist solely of reigning Olympic and world champions and athletes ranked in the top 12 to 16 in the world for track events and the top eight for field events.
That stellar lineup will include U.S. standouts like world champion sprinters Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Sha'Carri Richardson, along with 2024 Olympic gold medalists Gabby Thomas, Rai Benjamin, Cole Hocker and Masai Russell.
They'll be competing for gold against the likes of Mondo Duplantis, Julien Alfred, Jakob Ingebrigtsen and many more.
