A Florida woman accused of plowing an SUV into a parked car appeared to downplay the collision before making a personal plea to officers investigating her, newly released video shows.
"I thought we were all friends," 24-year-old Elizabeth Boucher told Daytona Beach police during the Aug. 30 encounter.
Surveillance video released by police shows an SUV smashing into a parked Honda with enough force to shove it across a front lawn and out of the camera's view.
But when an officer asked Boucher what happened, she offered a far less dramatic account caught on police bodycam video.
