Florida football began the Jon Sumrall era with a convincing 66-21 win over Florida Atlantic at The Swamp.
In this week's Swampcast, the Sun's Kevin Brockway, Noah Ram and Andrew Abadie break down the win and focus on where the Florida Gators need to improve in their Week 2 matchup against Campbell on Saturday, September 12 (5:30 p.m., SEC Network +).
Florida outgained FAU 624-396 but concerns on defense remain for the Gators in both communication and physicality.
"You knew it was going to be tough facing one of the best pass offenses in the country last season but still, some soft coverages, not much of a pass rush, some things to be mildly concerned about," Brockway said.
Abadie said it comes down to players winning matchups on the defensive line and better communication in the secondary.
