Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is inching higher on Monday after the chipmaker announced a live artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure platform in Saudi Arabia. This new initiative in collaboration with Cisco (CSCO) and sovereign tech firm HUMAIN could accelerate AMD's competitive push against Nvidia (NVDA) in regional cloud computing.
At the time of writing, AMD stock is trading at more than 2x its price at the start of this year.
