Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo pleaded no contest Tuesday to operating while intoxicated in connection with his July arrest in Milwaukee, according to WISN 12.
Romo, 46, will have his driver's license revoked for six months and must pay a $784 fine. He also must complete an alcohol ***** sment program and install an ignition interlock device on any vehicle he owns.
Milwaukee County sheriff's deputies arrested Romo, a Wisconsin native, on July 23 after a traffic stop.
According to a search warrant obtained by WISN 12, a deputy reported smelling a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage" on Romo's breath. Body-camera footage showed Romo telling the deputy he had not consumed any alcohol.
