Who made the cut? And how does the WNBA handle its players leaving to play in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup? Here's everything you need to know about the event.
The 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup will take place in Berlin, Germany. It marks the second time the country has hosted the event, the first being in 1998. The U.S. won it all that year, defeating Russia in the final.
The 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup begins Sept. 4 and runs through Sept. 13.
