NFL stadiums are more than places where football games are played. The best ones become part of the identity of their teams and cities. Some have huge crowds, great views and modern facilities. Others stand out because of history, tradition, tailgating or the feeling inside the building.
The 2026 season brings another major change to that landscape. The Buffalo Bills have moved across the street into a brand-new Highmark Stadium. The new building has a fixed capacity of 60,108, making it the NFL's smallest stadium. Standing-room areas can add about 6,000 more fans. Its roof covers most of the crowd, while the grass field, open concourses and player facilities mark a major upgrade from the old stadium.

Highmark Stadium is exempt because it is still settling into its new home. It will likely be one of the best once fans have had more time to experience it during a full season.
So, that leaves 29 regularly used NFL stadiums, considering the New York Giants and Jets share MetLife Stadium and the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers co-habit SoFi Stadium. Let's get a deep dive on every NFL stadium.
