Dallas Goedert is entering his ninth season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, at 31 years old, he is coming off the best fantasy year of his career. With A.J. Brown gone and a rookie tight end in the building, should fantasy managers be drafting Goedert in 2026?
I expected to be out on Goedert this season.
The reason is that his 2025 breakout was almost entirely a mirage. Goedert averaged 12.3 fantasy points per game, and that figure was inflated by an absurd 11 touchdowns. Nothing else about his profile actually changed.

His targets and yards landed right in his usual range. His yards per reception was a career-low 9.9. He simply happened to find the end zone six more times than he ever had before. For context on how extreme that was, you would have to add up his previous four seasons combined to exceed last year's touchdown total.
