Roma may decide not to replace Jayden Oosterwolde.
After the failed Fenerbahçe deal, the Giallorossi had left open the possibility of another move for a winger, but with the transfer window closing just days away, the situation appears to have changed.
According to today's newspapers, Gian Piero Gasperini's evaluation has also been influenced by the growth of Emanuele Lulli, who made a convincing debut against Fiorentina.
The youngster could provide an additional option on the right flank alongside Nahuel Molina, while on the opposite flank, the coach can count on Wesley and Devyne Rensch.
Roma could therefore decide to stick with the current wingers in the squad, possibly postponing the investment to further complete the midfield until January.
