EAST LANSING — A Michigan State football player is being investigated for ****** ual ****** ault, according to a police report obtained by The Detroit News.
Allegations have been made against Nick Sharpe, an offensive lineman, over a July 17 incident at his apartment in East Lansing, but he has not been charged in the matter. The victim's name was redacted in the police report, but it does list the woman as a resident of Dallas, Texas.
Sharpe, 23, did not respond to a request for comment, nor did he respond after The Detroit News left a message with his family. Michigan State did not have an immediate comment when reached by The News.
According to the police report that lists the alleged offense as third-degree criminal ****** ual conduct, the woman says she flew to Detroit on July 17 and took an Uber to Sharpe's apartment, where she says she entered his room to watch a movie.
The two began kissing, and Sharpe allegedly began touching her genitalia. She claims she told him to stop, but he continued. He only ceased when she started performing oral ****** on him, she says, which she consented to due to nervousness. Sharpe recorded her during the act. She slept in Sharpe's bedroom that night while he slept on the couch because he "could not control himself." She returned home to Dallas the next day.
