Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ: $NVDA) shares reversed an early after-hours drop Wednesday after the chipmaker posted record fiscal second-quarter revenue and guided above Wall Street expectations, extending the AI infrastructure boom into another quarter.
Revenue reached $96.2 billion for the quarter ended July 26, up 106% from a year earlier and 18% from the previous quarter. Data Center revenue climbed 117% year over year to a record $89 billion, while adjusted earnings came in at $2.22 per share, ahead of the $2.09 **** ysts expected.
The stock closed regular trading down 1.59% at $209.66 before turning higher after the earnings call. Shares later gained more than 4% as investors focused on the company's growth outlook and another large expansion with Amazon Web Services.
