This week's episode of 'Hard Knocks' was the most revealing and simultaneously the most gut-wrenching to watch for Seattle Seahawks fans.
The season-ending injuries to Bud Clark and Jake Bobo were both shown on the broadcast, punctuating preceding segments in which we got to see Clark with his fiancee and their young son, as well as Bobo and his heart-to-heart with receivers coach Frisman Jackson.
Clark, who broke his ankle on the Seahawks' first defensive play against the Tennessee ******* ans, immediately screamed out, "My sh-t just broke!" after an audible snap could be heard as he planted his right ankle. Incredibly, through the intense pain after suffering an injury that would leave him sidelined for months, Clark kept a remarkably positive attitude as he made his way onto the cart.
"Yeah, we gravy, we gravy," Clark told the athletic trainers.
Clark later said to Coach Mike Macdonald, "Hell yeah, coach, we gravy. It hurts like a motherf—ker, though."
