Both Indiana-based stars are returning to the court this season after their long absences, and Haliburton opened up on how the pair connected over this time.
At the Pacers Foundation Charity Softball Classic, Haliburton spoke to the media and was asked about Jones, revealing the pair have been talking about their respective recoveries from their Achilles tears.
"Yeah, we talked a good amount. We have the same surgeon. He got hurt much closer to now, and he's coming back earlier. I am excited to see how everything pans out for him."
