Ahead of the season, The Daily Herald highlighted the area's top returning players and now we're giving fans the chance to select which athlete you believe will make the greatest impact on the pitch this season.
Here are the nominees for The Daily Herald's top TSSAA girls soccer player at the start of the 2026 high school season.
Ashlan Alexander, Battle Creek, So.: Alexander was named to The Daily Herald's All-Area team last season after leading the Grizzlies with 24 goals and 10 ******* ists from attacking midfield.
Savannah Evans, Battle Creek, Jr.: Evans was named to the All-District 8-AA first team last season after scoring 17 goals and providing five ******* ists.
