Manchester United are reportedly looking at signing Alejandro Baldé to bolster their left-back options.
Luke Shaw is currently the only recognised senior left-back in the squad with youngster Harry Amass expected to leave the club on either a loan or permanent deal.
According to journalist Simon Jones of the Daily Mail, the club are 'monitoring' Baldé's situation at Barcelona.
The 22-year-old came through the academy at Barça and has already made 168 appearances for the club, chipping in with three goals and 18 **** ists from defence. However, Baldé still has two years remaining on his current contract at the club and a release clause of €100 million (approx £85.5 million).
Last season, Baldé played 42 times for Barcelona in all competitions, starting 31 of those games.
