Melania Trump disappeared from the spotlight for over a month, but she recently returned and couldn't help but poke fun at the public's curiosity regarding her whereabouts.
"Good afternoon. I heard you missed me," the First Lady, 56, said at the beginning of her speech at the White House Rose Garden on Thursday, August 20. "Here I am."
During her time at the podium, Melania spoke about her Fostering the Future program and announced plans to expand the initiative with the help of a $2 million donation from IndyCar and Fox Corporation. The money will be used to fund scholarships at Indiana University and Purdue University, according to the White House.
Melania's absence has been a hot topic of conversation recently as Thursday marked her first public appearance in 32 days.
