We asked you to predict what will happen between now and the end of the transfer window at Aston Villa and how the 2026-27 season will pan out for Unai Emery's side.

Peter: For me, there has been too much upheaval. With players leaving this summer and the core of the squad being ripped out, I feel Villa will be a bit disjointed while all of the new signings bed in. Therefore, I predict an uncertain start to the season, and possibly an uncertain campaign as a whole.
Keith: I have no problem with any of the sales individually. Rogers is good money, Konsa is good money, Digne is a good deal for an ageing player. Martinez has a great replacement in Zion Suzuki. Joao Gomes and Johan Manzambi are fantastic additions. My worry is the sheer amount of upheaval. Hopefully we can retain a good core of last season's players while gradually integrating the new players and youngsters. Keeping Emery is key, his system and passion is our greatest ****** et.
