Barcelona's search for a new striker appears to have taken an important step forward, with the Catalan giants reportedly reaching an agreement with Lautaro Martinez over personal terms.
The problem, however, is that agreeing terms with the player is only one part of the equation.
As reported before, Barcelona have not yet made an offer to Inter Milan, and the Serie A side is not currently expecting one.
More significantly, Inter are said to have no interest in opening talks for their captain, creating a major obstacle in any potential Lautaro Martinez transfer.
With Julian Alvarez increasingly difficult to sign, Barcelona have been forced to look at other options, and Lautaro has emerged as one of the names being seriously considered.
