OAK HILL, WV (WVNS) - The injury bug tore through the Oak Hill Red Devils in their first season competing in AAAA.
Oak Hill started with a 3-1 record before things began to take a turn. The Red Devils then stumbled to a .500 record before losing to George Washington in round 1 of the playoffs.
Health has since become a primary focus for the program this offseason.

"Weak things break and if your bodies weak, it's going to break this season, but all our kids, all our starters, all our older guys, they have bought into the weight room program and they've bulked their bodies up better this year for a full ten game slate – hopefully 11 and further. Hopefully the guys put in enough work internally and externally to actually survive the season," said Head Coach Davon Marion.
