John celebrated his 63rd birthday on Wednesday with the photo, which saw him snapping a mirror selfie in his bathroom, his muscular torso on full display. The actor held his phone over his face, and artfully cropped the picture to stop just below his waist.

Kelly Rizzo, the wife of the late Full House actor Bob Saget, commented: "All I can think about is 'what would Bob say' right now.
