If you look at Chelsea's midfield situation from the outside it seems pretty simple now – Enzo Fernandez is staying, and the club have a pretty solid spread of options centrally, between the Argentine, Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Jordan Henderson, Dario Essugo, plus Reece James likely to play there a fair bit.
But the reality, according to our writer Simon Phillips is very different. He says that Chelsea are still looking to sign a midfielder, and could yet sell Enzo and sign two.
He adds that Essugo could also be loaned out in that situation.
