Mike Vrabel celebrated his 51st birthday Friday, and the New England Patriots made sure to recognize their head coach. The Patriots shared a photo of Vrabel from the sideline on social media alongside a short message for the former linebacker who helped restore the franchise to championship contention.
"Happy birthday Coach Vrabes," the Patriots wrote.
Vrabel was born Aug. 14, 1975, in Akron, Ohio. His football journey eventually brought him to New England twice, first as an indispensable member of the Patriots' original dynasty and later as the coach tasked with building their next championship team.
His first season back in Foxboro could hardly have gone much better.
