Well before he became the San Francisco Giants' president of baseball operations, Buster Posey helped the club become recognized as one of the rare dynasties in baseball's modern era.
Posey, along with Brandon Belt, Brandon Crawford, Joe Panik and Pablo Sandoval were enshrined into the club's esteemed Wall of Fame.
Inductions were held before the Giants' contest against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, August 8. The Wall of Fame ceremony began at 3 p.m. PT (6 p.m. ET), the team announced. The first pitch of the game is at 4:15 p.m. (7:15 p.m. ET).
In a five-year span, the Giants captured three World Series pennants from 2010 to 2014, winning in 2010, 2012 and 2014. Here's everything you need to know about the Giants' Wall of Fame inductees.
