FC Barcelona striker Ferran Torres has agreed to join European rival Paris Saint-Germain according to SPORT, which cited anonymous sources.
Those sources, close to the negotiations, say that Ferran has already given PSG permission to "activate all its machinery" and begin talks with Barça, which has been angered by the striker's decision to discuss his future in public.
Ferran is currently in the last 11 months of his contract which expires on June 30, 2027. The Catalans would like to extend his terms but can't do that until September owing to Financial Fair Play issues.
Furthermore, Ferran's pay demands have to fall in line with his standing in Hansi Flick's squad. He's seen as no more as a secondary member of it, just as he was when Robert Lewandowski was still around ahead of leaving for the Chicago Fire once his own terms expired.
