Bristol City boss Charlotte Healy has described Sophie Ingle as "the perfect role model" after the Wales midfielder signed a new contract through to 2028.
The 34-year-old signed for the Robins last summer on a free transfer from Chelsea and played in all 22 games in WSL 2.
Ingle helped City finish fourth and has agreed fresh terms ahead of the 2026-27 season, which gets under way with a trip to Sunderland on Sunday, 6 September.
"I'm really excited to be staying at this amazing football club," said Ingle.
"I've felt really settled since coming back and the infrastructure of this club is going in the right direction and so I'm looking forward to the future."
