Dexter Lawrence was brought in by the Cincinnati Bengals straight up for the 10th overall pick. That brings some hefty expectations beyond just being a good player. He needs to be a player that makes everyone around him better.
So far we have seen signs of that, but it will be hard to really see until they line up Week 1 against another team.
Defensive lineman Myles Murphy has already seen the impact.
"Really, just a lot of it has been like him sharing his knowledge with the defensive tackles," Murphy told FOX19. "It correlates to everyone on the D-line just getting off blocks in general. So I mean, it's been huge to have him as like another coach in a sense. So yeah, I think it helps all of us."
Lawrence has picked up plenty of tips and tricks over his time in the NFL. He has been a dominant force, and not all of that has been because of his physical ability.
