NEW DELHI: Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming has bid an emotional farewell after ending his 18-year ***** ociation with the five-time IPL champions.
On Monday, CSK announced that they had mutually decided to part ways with the long-serving coach.
Fleming had been with CSK since the inaugural IPL season in 2008, first as a player and then as head coach from 2009.
During his tenure, he guided the franchise to five IPL ***** les and two Champions League T20 trophies, while helping the team reach the playoffs 12 times and the final on 10 occasions.
In a statement released by the franchise, Fleming reflected on his long journey with CSK and thanked everyone ***** ociated with the team.

"Eighteen years is a lifetime in sport, and I leave with nothing but gratitude. My time with Chennai Super Kings has been the privilege of my coaching career. I am proud of everything we have achieved," Fleming said.
He also spoke about the memories he created with the franchise.
