Following the Philadelphia 76ers' blockbuster trade for Jaylen Brown, two roster needs became clear for the franchise: a game-changing starting power forward and the perfect second-unit wing scorer.
While the 76ers are still working on finding a high-caliber PF whom the organization could easily slot into their starting lineup, they succeeded in outbidding the Golden State Warriors for dynamic 6-foot-3 ex-Boston Celtics sharpshooter who's destined to deliver the goods for Philadelphia off the bench.
The 76ers officially announced the deal on Monday.
" Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey announced today that the team has signed Anfernee Simons," the franchise stated.
