The British Virgin Islands (BVI) have spent the last several years pitching itself as a digital-asset hub. At BVI Finance's Fintech on the Seas conference on Necker Island, one of the people buying that pitch is Kingsley Advani, founder of Advani Family Offices and CEO of fund-infrastructure platform Allocations.
Advani has invested in 200+ companies over roughly a decade, securing early stakes in ******* eX, Anthropic, OpenAI, Coinbase, Robinhood and Kraken. He manages over $2B in ******* ets across borders and industries, and has pivoted to "investing in the infrastructure to invest."
Advani's argument is that the BVI's faster formations and improved regulation make it increasingly attractive for new entities as a home base, and that AI will compress entity setup even further from weeks to seconds.

"If they want to spin up a BVI entity or SPV on their phone, they should be able to with AI in a few seconds. That's the end goal," he said in a conversation with TheStreet Roundtable.
