Alannah Keyser — the Love Island USA cast member who was removed from the show after videos resurfaced of her saying the n-word — has broken her silence about her exit from the reality series.
"I'm coming on here to address some things that have been circulating online," the 21-year-old said in a TikTok video shared Saturday night.
"I do want to begin by addressing the video of me singing along to a Roddy Rich song that contains a racial slur. I'm sorry to whoever has seen that video and been offended by it. That was never my intention," she said.
She continued, "The video is from six years ago and that word is just not in my vocabulary anymore."
Keyser was introduced during the June 21 episode as one of the six new girls brought in for the Peacock show's famous Casa Amor twist. Hours after Keyser's bombshell arrival, a 10-second undated video began circulating on social media that appeared to show her mouthing the n-word as she sang along to lyrics at a Miami party.
