Former Wisconsin Badgers offensive guard Joe Tippmann has earned himself a major payday.
The Indiana native has netted himself a four-year, $66.4 million contract extension with the New York Jets, according to Ian Rapoport.
Tippmann's deal sees $34.9M guaranteed and was negotiated by Athlete's First's Joe Panos and AJ Stevens.
The 25-year-old was the Jets' No. 43 overall pick back in 2023. After earning $8.35 million in his four-year rookie contract, Tippmann is the latest former Badger to earn a huge extension fresh off his first deal coming out of Wisconsin.
Having only missed one game in his first three years, it comes as no surprise that the Jets wanted to lock Tippmann up for the foreseeable future.
