Former Cincinnati Reds infielder/outfielder Nick Senzel is no longer listed on the Lexington Legends' roster.
Senzel last played for the Legends on June 13, going 0-for-4 to drop his batting average to .172. He hit four home runs in 72 plate appearances for Lexington.
The Atlantic League team formerly co-owned by Reds Hall of Famer Brandon Phillips announced it signed Senzel on May 24.
"This is an exciting day for our organization and for baseball fans across Kentucky," Legends general manager Justin Ferrarella said when the team signed Senzel. "Nick Senzel is a player that fans know, respect, and immediately recognize from his Major League career and his time with the Reds."
In April 2025, Senzel agreed to a minor-league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Senzel batted .179 with two homers in 96 plate appearances this season for the Dodgers' Triple-A team in Oklahoma City.
