On Thursday, the reality TV star uploaded a slideshow of snaps from a trip to the lake with her four children, boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, and sister Khloé Kardashian.
But a short time after the post, Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, shared that her beloved mother MJ had died at the age of 91.

"This post was scheduled a few days ago before we lost MJ, so its timing came right alongside her passing," she wrote. Lewis Hamilton turned his Monaco Grand Prix podium into a public romantic moment with Kim Kardashian watching from below.
The Ferrari driver finished second at the 2026 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, June 7, then blew a kiss toward Kardashian from the podium as she filmed him. People reported that the moment came after Hamilton claimed another strong result during his first season with Ferrari.
Kardashian attended the race in Monte Carlo with sister Khloé Kardashian and family friend Simon Huck. A day earlier, the group had also been seen in Monaco as Hamilton prepared for qualifying.
